Drug and Alcohol Detoxification Programs

Detoxification is the first step in the recovery process. Its purpose is to eliminate harmful substances from the body, to assist with a smooth transition into one of our treatment programs. Addiction and alcohol detoxification must be handled with the utmost care — this is why medical and therapeutic services are provided, under the direction of our Medical Director and Clinical Director.

We have a dedicated licensed staff on premises 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our licensed detox facilities have several addiction specialists including licensed marriage and family therapists, a clinical social worker, as well as certified drug and alcohol counselors.

Any substance can build a chemical dependency and hence cause withdrawal symptoms. However, detox and withdrawal vary greatly from drug to drug. It takes a highly trained specialist to be able to address any one substance or combination of substances during detox.
